UNC offers wide receiver Jazz King
Posted Apr 15, 2009
Jazz King knows what it’s like to line up against stiff competition. The 5-foot-11, 180-pound wide receiver from Byrnes does so out on the practice field. King, along with fellow receivers Nick Jones, Torian Richardson and Ricco Sanders, made up the quartet of Division I prospects that pressed one another to succeed on every snap last year for the Rebels.
The hard work is paying off for King as North Carolina has extended a verbal offer. Clemson, USC, Colorado, Duke, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Florida, Florida State, Louisville, Oklahoma, Tennessee and Wake Forest have also been in contact, he said.
