It wasn't the type of outcome Leslie McDonald and the rest of the USA Junior National Select Team had envisioned last Saturday in Portland, Ore., in the 12th annual Nike Hoop Summit. Nevertheless, McDonald, Briarcrest Christian's senior basketball star, said he'll forever cherish the experience after scoring eight points in 19 minutes of action in the USA Junior Select Team's 97-89 loss to the World Select Team before a Hoop Summit-record crowd of 11,246.
