Posted Apr 23, 2009
Jack Wooten climbed the ladder and took the first snip of net after the North Carolina men's basketball team won the national championship earlier this month in Detroit. Wooten, a senior walk-on from Burlington, was directed there by senior teammate Bobby Frasor. "I took a longer piece of net than normal," Wooten said, pointing out that he learned from past net cuttings. "I got my last one."
