NFL Draft: Prospects for area players
Posted Apr 23, 2009
Hakeem Nicks / North Carolina - a 6-1 212 lb Wide Receiver, is shooting up the draft board thanks in part to a super senior season with the Tar Heels that included 12 touchdowns. It also helps that the last time he was seen in a college uniform was an electric performance at the Meineke Car Care Bowl in Charlotte. A lot has been made of his enormous hands that allows him to make the one handed catch look easy.
