Hakeem Nicks drafted by New York Giants, Richard Quinn to Denver

With the 29th pick in 1st round of the 2009 NFL Draft, the New York Giants have selected wide receiver Hakeem Nicks from the University of North Carolina. Nicks looks to fill the void at receiver left by Plaxico Burress, who was released from the team after being arrested on gun charges.
UNC tight end Richard Quinn was selected as the last pick of the 2nd round (64th overall) by the Denver Broncos.
