The New York Giants have a job opening and are hopeful that Hakeem Nicks can fill it immediately. Nicks, a former North Carolina receiver, was the Giants' first-round selection in yesterday's NFL Draft. He was taken with the 29th pick. Nicks learned that the Giants were going to select him in a call from Coach Tom Coughlin minutes before the pick was made. "I'm excited about the opportunity that is ahead of me in New York," Nicks said.
