Draft reflects Tar Heels' improvement

One factor in Carolina's success in the draft is that coach Butch Davis and many of his assistants have worked in the NFL. They run a system similar to the way many professional teams operate. Tight end Richard Quinn was a surprise pick in the second round by the Denver Broncos. He said there is no doubt his training at Carolina helped. "It did," Quinn said. "They brought their whole professional style to a college team."
