Harrison Barnes tabbed No. 1

Harrison Barnes of Ames, Iowa, has been rated the new No. 1 player in the Class of 2010 by Scout.com. The 6-6 Barnes already was considered one of the top five players in the class. Last week he narrowed his list of colleges to 12, including Kentucky. He also is considering Duke, North Carolina, Minnesota, Kansas, Oklahoma, Florida, Southern California, Texas Christian, Stanford, Iowa State and UCLA.
