Woody Durham speaks at WHKP dinner
Posted May 8, 2009
On Thursday night, WHKP 1450 AM welcomed Woody Durham, the Voice of the Tar Heels for the past 38 years, and he felt right at home in a room full of fans wearing Carolina blue. Following his speech that included a question-and-answer session, North Carolina Tar Heel sports memorabilia were given out after a drawing. The first item was one of Durham’s favorites — a Carolina basketball signed by head coach Roy Williams.
