Gamecocks drop in on T.J. Leifheit

South Carolina recruiter Brad Lawing is making his run through his North Carolina territory and one player he checked on last week was (6-7, 300) of Wilmington. The Gamecocks have offered along with Clemson, Cal, Duke, Florida State, Maryland, UNC, N.C. State, Tennessee, Texas Tech, Wake Forest, East Carolina, Southern Cal, LSU and Boston College.

Ohio State also is showing interest and Leifheit, a lifelong Buckeyes fan, is waiting on an offer from them though he said he wouldn't commit right away if he got one. He does not have favorites at this point but he plans to have a top six by next month. (Charleston Post and Courier)
