Athlon ranks Tar Heels pre-season #19

Butch Davis has big plans and the résumé to pull them off. Carolina continues to pull in great recruiting classes, and if all those youngsters make good on their promise, UNC might just find itself competing for the ACC title. The Tar Heels came close last year — then again, just about everybody in the league did — and have some big talents available to make another push. (Athlon Sports)
