Tar Heels Dispatch Washington State
Posted Mar 28, 2008
North Carolina was held to fewer than 70 points Thursday night for only the third time this season. But it mattered little as the top-ranked Tar Heels (35-2) moved a victory away from the Final Four with a 68-47 whipping of Washington State in an East Regional semifinal. For teams planning on slowing the pace against Roy Williams' team, it should be noted the Tar Heels are 3-0 when scoring fewer than 70 points.
