Posted Jun 13, 2009
Former Mississippi State tight end Nelson Hurst, brother of 2010 UNC commit James Hurst, will join the Tar Heels as a transfer. He will have three years of eligibility left after playing as a true freshman for the Bulldogs, starting 10 of 12 games.
Southeast Raleigh High linebacker Kendall Moore has narrowed his possibilities to seven, with no favorite. In alphabetical order, they are Clemson, Duke, Florida State, Maryland, N.C. State, Notre Dame and South Carolina.
