When North Carolina starting pitcher Adam Warren steps to the mound today, he will be facing one of the hottest hitting teams in the College World Series. Southern Mississippi might be light on pitching, but it has seven batters with at least 135 at-bats hitting over .300 and has recorded a tournament-best 16 home runs in its seven NCAA postseason games.
