Matt Harvey rested, ready to go for Tar Heels
Posted Jun 18, 2009
Matt Harvey entertained overtures from Arizona State after his high school career in Mystic, Conn. Now Harvey will pack the 98-mph fastball he showed in an intrasquad game this week in an attempt to knock the Sun Devils out of the College World Series. When Harvey takes the mound today, it will be a familiar trip. He was the starting pitcher in Game 3 of 2008 CWS, going two innings as the Tar Heels won an elimination game against LSU.
