Deon Thompson already embracing leader’s role

Deon Thompson doesn't have the jewelry yet to commemorate his most recent season with the North Carolina Tar Heels, so it's harder to show off than it ought to be. He doesn't seem to need the bling, though. He was the only player out of 32 at the USA Basketball trials who has won an NCAA championship, and the other 31 appeared to recognize the distinction.
