Jack Wooten named Director of Basketball Operations at Elon

Jack Wooten, a senior walk-on for the Tar Heels last season, is the new Director of Basketball Operations at Elon. The position is unpaid, but Wooten — whose greatest play at UNC may have been when he blocked now-president Barack Obama’s shot in a pick-up game — hopes it will help him decide whether he wants to become a head coach in the future.
