The twisted ugliness of the final game may have spoiled the beauty of the run the North Carolina made on its way to a fourth consecutive College World Series for many people, but do not count Mike Fox among those. The Carolina coach hated losing as much -- or more -- than anyone who is connected to this team. But he is also the man who recruited the kids who carried the Tar Heels on this ride.
