Area legend Vince Carter coming home

The last time Vince Carter played on a basketball team in Central Florida, he led the Mainland High Buccaneers to the Class 6A state championship. That was back in 1995, and in the years since, his legend here has only grown. As he was dunking and averaging over 20 points a game in NBA arenas, he also was donating $2.5 million to build a gym at his alma mater.
