Women's basketball gets a boost from NCAA

Women's college basketball programs around the nation are constantly trying to boost attendance. The NCAA is trying to help. With its Division I Women's Basketball Grant Program, the NCAA last month awarded $750,000 in grants to North Carolina and other schools to increase awareness for the sport and build their fan bases.
