Depth improving, but issues remain for Triangle football coaches

UNC coach Butch Davis said his program is still looking to improve its depth, and the Tar Heels are untested in key places on offense. Davis said Carolina will look for Greg Little to become a leader at receiver as the Tar Heels have to rebuild that group. “We’ve used him as a wide receiver, we’ve used him as a running back,” Davis said. “And I really think his best position is as a wide receiver.”
