Tobacco Road continues to improve: The fans of the four corner schools - N.C. State, North Carolina, Duke and Wake Forest - are usually focused on hoops by the first of November. However, there's some evidence that tides are turning along Tobacco Road, especially since three went bowling last year. Butch Davis finally has a decent squad, and the Tar Heels could finish anywhere from first to fourth in the division. (Anderson Independent Mail)
