P.J. Hairston Commits to UNC
Posted Aug 4, 2009
Just a day after receiving a scholarship offer from North Carolina, P.J. Hairston opted to give Roy Williams and UNC a verbal commitment. "I did it," Hairston told InsideCarolina.com minutes after making the commitment to Roy Williams. "I'm going to be a Tar Heel." Hairston, a 6-5, 215-pound rising junior shooting guard from Greensboro (N.C.) Dudley, has been building a relationship with North Carolina for quite some time. He took a bunch of unofficial visits to Chapel Hill over the past year and has spent a considerable amount of time around the UNC coaching staff.
