OL Carl Gaskins will miss season with torn ACL
Posted Aug 13, 2009
UNC sophomore offensive tackle Carl Gaskins tore the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee during Wednesday morning's practice, and will miss the entire 2009 season, the school announced Thursday. Gaskins played in five games in 2008 and was competing for playing time this fall at left tackle. This news comes one day after the school announced offensive lineman Kevin Bryant left the team.
