Butch Davis needed only one season to get North Carolina’s struggling program back into the national rankings and in contention for an ACC championship. And expectations are high for the Tar Heels entering his third year here. North Carolina has a talented defense to build around, while its offense has an experienced quarterback and depth at running back.
