Sean Fitzpatrick commits to Tar Heels

6-foot-5, 225-pound tight end Sean Fitzpatrick of Pittsford Mendon (Pittsford, NY) has switched his Class of 2010 commitment from Maryland to the Tar Heels. Rutgers, Syracuse, Minnesota and Buffalo had also offered. Fitzpatrick played a variety of positions last fall including quarterback, tight end and safety. He finished the season with three touchdown reception and one interception returned for a score.
