ACC Football Commitment Lists: Coastal Division, Aug. 19

In the last recruiting cycle North Carolina stockpiled so many recruits we weren’t sure that Butch Davis would be able to find roster spots for all of them. This time around the Tar Heels have been recruiting at a more leisurely pace, but UNC picked things up in the last week, adding two more commitments to its total. First, UNC got a commitment from Nick Appel, an offensive lineman out of Arlington (Va.) Bishop O’Connell.
