Carolina held its first scrimmage today, but an incoming storm ended it prematurely. The first-team offense and defense had enough time to run about 12 plays against each other. Kendric Burney said the plays were fairly simple, but it was a way to get back to basics. One reason Davis held off on a scrimmage was because practices had been tough enough. (Tar Heel Blue)
