Tar Heels work on punishing opponents

One point that Coach Butch Davis has stressed at North Carolina since summer practice began is that a defensive line can set a program's personality by its play, strong or weak. The linemen, according to Marvin Austin, believe Davis' theory and are hopeful of giving the team at least a slight nasty streak for the 2009 season, a trait that hasn't been seen in Kenan Stadium very often.
