Veteran defense will set the tone for North Carolina

North Carolina will begin the season ranked among the nation's top 25 teams, but Greg Little isn't impressed. He appreciates the rankings -- No. 20 in the USA Today coaches' poll, No. 21 in The Associated Press poll -- with the understanding that voters recognize progress under Coach Butch Davis, but he believes that much has to be proved on the field. "It's pretty big, but we haven't played a game yet," said Little, a junior receiver.
