Tar Heels plan to bolt out of gate

UNC wants to go at least as far as Tampa, Fla., and the ACC championship game this season, and will be looking for a spark today when it opens against The Citadel. Kickoff will be at 6 p.m. at Kenan Stadium in Chapel Hill. Quarterback T.J. Yates said he doesn't want UNC to struggle in its opener as it did last season, when a storm delayed play and UNC lost focus before holding on for a 35-27 win over McNeese State.
