Tar Heels woo James McAdoo into commitment

Just about everyone who stepped foot in the Smith Center on Friday night left with a deeper appreciation for the program's history and tradition. And that included highly-touted Class of 2011 recruit from Virginia. McAdoo, in Chapel Hill over the weekend for his official visit, gave North Carolina coach his verbal commitment before leaving town. Despite initial plans to take subsequent official visits to both Virginia and Duke, McAdoo had seen enough. He wanted to be a Tar Heel. And he wanted to solidify that decision immediately.
