UConn Makes Adjustments In Punt Protection
Posted Sep 9, 2009
Three blocked punts in a game one year are certainly enough to make you change your strategy the next year. And that's what UConn has done with its punt protection. The Huskies had a chance to try it out in their 23-16 win over Ohio Saturday. Now, it really gets a tryout when No.19 North Carolina comes to Rentschler Field. The Tar Heels' Bruce Carter blocked three Desi Cullen punts by himself in UConn's 38-12 loss last season.
