Watching Michael Jordan from the start was special treat

I knew Michael Jordan was incomparable when I covered him some in high school. He scored 35 points for Laney in one half and the quarters were only eight minutes long. He poured in 40 points on Goldsboro his junior season. You get the point. For the StarNews’ coverage leading to his induction into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame, I contacted several people to trigger my memory and shed new light. (Wilmington Star News)
