Tar Heels try to carry over dominance into UConn game

North Carolina liked the appetizer and now the Tar Heels go for a bigger meal when they visit Connecticut for today’s non-league game. “This is a week where we have to get dramatically better,” North Carolina coach Butch Davis said. “This is good as the season progresses for our team.” Eighteen North Carolina players appeared in their first college game in last week’s 40-6 demolition of The Citadel.
