Farfan's goal beats NC State in ACC men's soccer opener

Junior midfielder Michael Farfan scored the game-winner with 25:42 to play to lead second-ranked North Carolina to a 2-1 men's soccer win over No. 18 NC State Saturday night in the Atlantic Coast Conference opener for both schools. The win lifts the Tar Heels to 3-0-1 overall, 1-0 in the ACC. NC State drops to 3-1, 0-1.
