UNC - UConn Observations
Posted Sep 14, 2009
North Carolina true freshman Erik Highsmith had a nice game, especially when he caught a 21-yard pass from T.J. Yates on a critical third-and-18 play in the fourth quarter. Highsmith is a big receiver in the mold of former Tar Heel star Hakeem Nicks, and also wears the same No.88. When Butch Davis was asked what he saw from Highsmith, he smiled and said: “I saw flashbacks of 88. He looked good – a new 88!”
