Injuries mounting for Tar Heels
Posted Sep 16, 2009
If Tuesday's practice participation was any indication, No.24 UNC's offense will be missing a few key players for Saturday's game against East Carolina. Center Lowell Dyer remained in shorts and tight end Zack Pianalto was on crutches. Dyer missed UNC's 12-10 win against Connecticut with an injured right shoulder. Pianalto, who injured his foot after scoring UNC's lone touchdown, with 2 minutes, 36 seconds left, is day-to-day.
