UNC receiver Erik Highsmith: The freshman came up big with six catches for 113 yards and a touchdown in the Tar Heels’ 31-17 win over East Carolina. Highsmith became the first true freshman to catch for 100 yards since Hakeem Nicks in 2006. His biggest plays came in the fourth quarter and helped the Heels pull away from a scrappy ECU team.
