Safety Deunta Williams had plenty of stimulus to play well. He grew up in Jacksonville and, as a native "Downeaster," felt the heat for two years after East Carolina's 34-31 win in Greenville in September 2007. "It's funny--they can be the nicest people in the world, but once they come to the Carolina game, they transform," Williams said. "They haven't let us forget that loss."
