The stat sheet says North Carolina did not stop Georgia Tech's option offense last season; the scoreboard says otherwise. Georgia Tech ran for 326 yards against the Tar Heels last season, but lost the game 28-7. North Carolina coach Butch Davis would welcome the same high-yardage, low-scoring outcome for the 22nd-ranked Tar Heels' trip to Georgia Tech on Saturday in their ACC opener at noon.
