Tickets for games in Raleigh sold out

Posted Mar 18, 2008

Roy Williams has been saying for weeks that it wouldn’t be a major advantage for North Carolina to play NCAA tournament games in Raleigh. “I’ve got more people wanting tickets when we play so close to home,’’ Williams said last week. Maybe that’s one reason there are no tickets available for the first two rounds of play in the East Regional of the NCAA tournament scheduled Friday and Sunday at N.C. State’s RBC Center.
