Zack Pianalto 'unlikely' to play for UNC against Virginia
Posted Sep 28, 2009
North Carolina tight end Zack Pianalto is not expected to play this week when the Tar Heels play Virginia at noon in Kenan Stadium, coach Butch Davis said Monday. Pianalto suffered a leg injury while celebrating the game-winning touchdown at Connecticut. He did not play in Saturday's loss at Georgia Tech. Pianalto has been missed in a UNC passing attack that struggled to find a rhythm against the Yellow Jackets.
