Hapless Heels ready for Cavs

After a perfect start to the season, UNC appeared on track to challenge Virginia Tech for the ACC Coastal Division title. That all but crashed on third down last weekend at Georgia Tech. In fact, the Tar Heels (3-1, 0-1 ACC) were held hapless 10 times in their 11 third-down attempts, leading to a 24-7 loss in Atlanta. “We didn’t play as well Saturday, certainly, as we would have liked to have played,” Butch Davis said.
