Christian Russell not yet commited to UNC

Westover High football coach Milton Butts said the Wolverine's junior star Christian Russell is not committed to North Carolina, despite an Internet report Tuesday to the contrary. InsideCarolina.com reported that Russell's mother, Bridgett, confirmed Tuesday morning her son had given an oral commitment to the Tar Heels on Monday evening. But Butts said Russell told him he never spoke to anyone on the coaching staff at UNC. (Fayetteville Observer)
