Freshman right-hander Chris Munnelly struck out the side in the bottom of the eighth inning after junior center fielder Ben Bunting scored the go-ahead run in the top of the frame to lift the White team to a 5-4 win in North Carolina's annual baseball Fall World Series Thursday at Boshamer Stadium. White's win evens first of two best-of-three series at a game apiece.
