No. 2 Field Hockey Gets 11th Shutout Of The Fall
Posted Oct 19, 2009
Senior Illse Davids' penalty stroke just before halftime provided the only goal the North Carolina field hockey team would need as the Tar Heel defense earned its 11th shutout and second-ranked UNC beat host James Madison 2-0 Sunday afternoon at the JMU Field Hockey Complex. Carolina improved to 15-0 on the season with the win, while the Dukes fell to 10-5.
