UNC tops Florida State, eyes repeat

If UNC’s fans are intent on taking over the Queen City this weekend, the top-ranked Tar Heels are determined to do their part, eyeing a repeat championship at the ACC tournament. Wayne Ellington helped UNC take the first step in that journey Friday, scoring 19 points and sparking an 82-70 win over Florida State. The Tar Heels are a lock for a No. 1 seed in the NCAA tournament. So the rest of this event becomes about staying sharp for the bigger show next week. (Fayetteville Observer)
