As the clock ran under minute and UNC held the ball, Tar Heels coach Roy Williams motioned Tyler Hansbrough over to the bench. With the game going on in the background, the coach and star player held an impromptu meeting. What was said, neither Williams or Hansbrough would divulge after the game, but a potential Dean Smith-Rick Barnes confrontation was in the works if Williams hadn't received the satisfactory answer from Hansbrough.
