UNC seeking big win against Virginia Tech
Posted Oct 29, 2009
North Carolina's senior defensive end E.J. Wilson has had to re-live not one, but two gut-wrenching defeats this week. UNC is coming off a 30-27 loss against Florida State last Thursday in Chapel Hill in which it led 24-6 early in the third quarter. But the Tar Heels wilted down the stretch as Seminole quarterback Christian Ponder completed his final 16 passes for 236 yards and three touchdowns.
